About Us
Devon County Council's Safer Recruitment Service is a registered Umbrella Body with the Disclosure & Barring Service. This enables the department to provide services not only to Devon County Council, but also to external organisations. Devon County Council currently has in excess of 800 registered external customers, including 200 academies and would welcome organisations, contractors, charities, medical & dental practices, voluntary organisations, CIC projects, independent schools and academies who require a safe recruitment service, to use our service.
